Agnès Chauvet 
Classical Guitarist

Agnès Chauvet is a professional classical guitarist and passionate educator based in London. She began her studies in 2015 at the University of St Andrews under Matthew McAllister and later successfully auditioned for a Bachelor's program at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. Agnès has performed recitals with her viola and guitar duo, Duo Trésor as well as with the chamber music group The Instruments of Government, showcasing her talent in venues throughout London and internationally, including Switzerland and recently at the Aleth en Concert festival in France. She recently commissioned a new piece for viola and guitar by composer Nimrod Borenstein, titled Le Voyage Op 95, which premiered in July 2022 at St Anne's Kew summer concert series. This endeavour has sparked her passion for performing and promoting new works for this unique combination of instruments. Agnès has a passion for teaching and has established a successful teaching studio in North London where she offers lessons to students of all levels. She is also available for hire for events, bringing her expertise and love for music to a wider audience.
